Valtellina Farmhouse

The history of tourism agriculture has deep roots. Farms and smallholdings generously opened their doors to visitors offering hospitality and contact with nature in exchange for gifts and "oddities" from the city. However, in Valtellina, the fashion of the Farm has taken hold only recently and it now has about fifty. The Farm is certainly the ideal places to rediscover forgotten tastes and enjoy traditional country recipes. The plates contain within themselves the products of local production, from land and farming. They are the rediscovery of the so-called "cucina povera" Valtellina comeback because it is based on a few ingredients, simple and natural, but enhanced by the millennial fantasy farmer and handed down orally for generations. The desire for healthy and natural, that every few years seems to affect our way of life, reflected in these recipes perfect explanation of their ideal kitchen.
